All good things come to an end

Well, then easter is over for this time, and it's back to school again. And it sucks.

I packed my laptop, schoolstuff and skis and headed home to mom's lambroast. Although I had every good intention on getting some schoolwork done, the couch, my big-ass easteregg and snowcoated mountains made me forget those intentions pretty fast.

Weather this easter shifted from sun and melting snow to all out winter in a matter of days. The first days was dominated by blizzards that made the mountains overly avalanche risky. Halfway through the holiday week snow stopped dumping for short periods, making it possible to get some altitude and find some legendary pow.

Arctic Surf

Last week the flu got me, and I was holding the fort safely at my couch with a big blanket, all 5 seasons of Futurama and a couple of seasons of Entourage. By the weekend I was getting a little bit better, though not enough for touring. Friday I decided to get some cough-medicin (very effective stuff originating from the Cognac district of France), and the night got pretty steep. Especially the stairs at Circa. A sworwegian had a bit trouble getting down them, and ended up in a pile of broken glass and ribs at the bottom.

Tor heard rumours of nice swells rolling in at the north shore of Kvaløya, so saturday we headed out there. Thomas, Tor, Audun and Ravna hit the waves, while me and Bjørn came along as photographers, see my pics at my webalbum.
